I’ve been working on a novel for awhile now and I’m stuck, out-to-lunch, deep in the weeds, spinning in tight circles, pick your poison, all of the above. It could be that with our youngest now happily ensconced in the halls of higher learning that empty-nester thing has finally taken hold, but really, I think it’s the sea change in our lives, not just kids leaving, but second acts to consider, future decades…
